Jacksonville Library Wedding | Lindsey & Daniel

Lindsey & Daniel Jacksonville library wedding was gorgeous. Look at the video teaser and I am sure you will understand what I mean 🙂

We started the day at Lindsey’s parents friend’s house where Lindsey decided to get ready with her bridesmaids, mom, and flower girl. The house was beautiful and full of pictures that reminded us how important it is to print your pictures. They are memories!!!! The ceremony was at Monument Point Fellowship where Lindsey’s father is the pastor. The church was beautifully decorated and the field behind was perfect for pictures. The bridal party still remembers me for asking them to walk through it… but look at the pictures it’s so worth it!

The reception was at downtown Jacksonville library in their courtyard. The weather was perfect (as Lindsey always said it would be :-). The library is an amazing venue for weddings! So beautiful and Lindsey and Daniel did an fantastic job to decorate it.

Finally as I promised in the previous post here is their story written by Daniel: (click here to see Lindsey version)

A. Wet met at a function at FSU through a few friends during the Spring 2010 semester. After spending some time having incredible conversation about faith and family, they we decided to meet up again on campus. There, I asked to buy her dinner. While Tropical Smoothie later that afternoon wasn’t the most romantic getaway, it did show how eager I was to spend more time with her.
From there we began to talk more and date, until June 2010. At that point we separated.
In the Fall 2011, she messaged me on Facebook and let me know she had run in to someone from the same city where I went to college. We spend the next couple of weeks/months catching up from the past year and a half. In early December, she came to Tallahassee to see a friend, and we were able to spend the evening together. That sparked our relationship back up, and we’ve been together ever since.

For the proposal, I selected the location in Tallahassee that has had a special meaning to us: Lake Ella.
I spent the afternoon decorating the gazebo with string lights around the top and sides. I also got her favorite flowers, orchids and placed them in a circle in the middle of the gazebo. I decorated each of the four benches with some type of material. An FSU blanket, and Arkansas Razorback blanket, chevron pattern, and leopard print pattern. On each bench, I put a collaged picture frame. Half of the frames in each collage were pictures of us, and the other half had the words to the Galatians 5:22-23 verses that speak to the Fruits of the Spirit. Finally, I lit tea candles and placed them lining the sidewalk leading up to the gazebo.
I had her friend grab dinner with her, and then make an excuse to drive near Lake Ella. When they got close, her friend inexplicably turned in to the park. I was standing there and escorted her down the sidewalk to the gazebo. I led her around to each of the picture frames, and then brought her inside the circle of orchids, got down on one knee, and the rest is history! We had her friend take pictures, and her parents were also on hand to witness the proposal from a distance!
